Quadcopters and cameras

A quadcopter is a helicopter also known as quadrotor. It has four rotors that help it to lift and propel itself. Quadcopters use two set of fixed propellers vertical opposing each other, one set moving clockwise and the other set moving counter clockwise.
The first ever quadcopter was developed by Louis Breguet in 1907 that has recorded to have had a tethered flight of a few feet. Succeeding Louis Breguet, Etienne Oehmichen in 1920 experimented freely with quadrotors. He designed 6 quadcopter using propellers and rotors.
No. 2 had recorded to be the most successful of all six. Quadcopters serve a number of uses.
-Quadcopters are generally used for experimentation purposes in schools, universities and research institutes in different areas of science.
-Quadcopters are also used in military and law-enforcement agencies for surveillance and search and rescue situations in different
-Quadcopters have come to be used in commercial setups to take aerial imagery and relevant shots. Media has started using drones and flying cameras to get celebrity pictures.

Due to presence of multiple rotors in a quadcopter, it is gruelling and often wearying to keep all the rotors in control with needed precision and accuracy. That is why a quadcopter control board is important. It reciprocates to the  RPM of the motor with the accurate input. Quadcopter control boards come with various types of sensors to sense the environment and surroundings.
A drone camera price starts at  5000 Indian rupees and goes upto 50,000 Indian rupees while a quadcopter starts at a price of 2000 indian rupees.
Building your own quadcopter can initially cost much more than buying a quadcopter but once you understand the workings of components, it could cost you much less due to wide choices of parts of the device. It provides the person with the choices of features that one needs and makes it more flexible to device your own quadcopter.

Robohaat - A Guide to Quadcopters

Quadcopters are a useful tool for researchers to test and evaluate new ideas in a number of different fields, including flight control theory, navigation, real time systems, and robotics.
Many universities have come up with complex manipulation of quadcopters to perform aerial movements that are not only good to watch but are complex in nature. Groups of quadcopters can take drifts in air and performing complex flying conventions.

A flight controller is the brain of the quadcopter. A quadcopter must be taking measurements using the sensors regularly and adjust to the speed of each rotor to keep it leveled and balanced.
Many quadcopter control boards come with gyroscopes and accelerometer. While the technology keeps advancing, barometer, magnetometer and GPS also are included in quadcopter boards.
Before building a quadcopter, one question that immediately pops up in the mind is which is the best flight controller for a quadcopter?

There are two best quadcopter control boards:

1. 32 Channel UART servo Controller Board

This  is servo controller  board with 32 channel.
-- More powerful MCU
-- Higher controlling accuracy
-- Offline operation function
-- Identify baud rate automatically

2. Naza M Lite:

NAZA is designed for aeromodel enthusiasts. It is a lightweight multi-rotor control platform.
It combines the  gyrometer, accelerometer, a barometric altimeter and an MC.
Optional GPS is also included.
It has D-Bus support, upgrade support, and extendible port.

How a quadcopter flies:

A quadrotor hovers or vertically takes off/lands by applying equal thrust to each of the four rotors. In this diagram, the thickness of the arrows indicate the relative amount of thrust applied.

A quadrotor yaws in the anticlockwise direction by applying more thrust to the two clockwise rotors than the two anticlockwise rotors. A conservation of angular momentum causes the quadrotor to rotate as desired. In this diagram, the thickness of the arrows indicate the relative amount of thrust applied.

A quadrotor adjusts its Aircraft principal axes by increasing thrust in one of the rotors and decreasing thrust in its diametrically opposite rotor. In this diagram, the thickness of the arrows indicate the relative amount of thrust applied.

Exploring horizons in Robotics

When Karel Capek  first wrote R.U.R( Rossum's Universal Robots), little did he knew about the near-gazillion dollar idea that he will be leaving for the world to work upon. When the play was staged in Prague in 1921, the idea of the mechanised men made out of  "chemical batter" might have been difficult for the audiences to take in, but now, almost a century later, on hearing the word we get the idea of mechanized helper ,or Rajnikanth!

Though the words has Czech roots that would translate to "forced labour", the modern day versions, like the more popular ones such as ASIMO are able to perform basic human actions- like the ability to respond to voice commands, turn to look at noises, identify simple hand gestures, perform speech synthesis and much more. Some more advanced developments have yielded in the creation of a highly intelligent line of robots that have (at least in their test models) have not only successfully enacted functions that were being performed by humans, but also in many environments where the level of difficulty to carry out operations was so high that it was humanly impossible to carry out tasks within acceptable degree of precision.

There are innumerable oppurtunities that are available in this field, as its application domain range from the space to surgical equipments to military to automated shops, and the list just doesn't end here. The plethora of opportunities that this exciting field offers is too much to resist for anyone with a passion for innovation, automation and technology. Robotics as a career is as thrilling for a hobbyist as it is for a professional. This Online Electronic Store offers DIY kits as well as assembled models for robots depending on your interest.

The Need of Universal Programmer Kit and ATMEL AT89 Series Device

As you are well aware that in configuring a computer programmers are used. These programmers must be inexpensive full featured for almost all the common microcontroller’s most common 8051 micro controller. These programmers’ works on serial parts to programmer erase and blank check, write lock bits, read and verify code data. This programmer working on USB port has the ability to verify the chip number.  So that it may be useful to find number erased chip.

To the demand of such microcontrollers a series of 8 bit microcontrollers (mCs) were developed and researched by the ATMEAL Corporation& designated series as ATMEL AT89 which is in harmony with an Intel 8051.

ATMEL AT89 series of microprocessor based on the Intel 8051 core are very popular even now- a – days as a general purpose microprocessor because of their industry instruction set and low unit cost and allowing to be used again and again without making any changes in new application.

With the invasion of computer the need of programmer was felt and to full fill the same programmer firstly introduced to a non- volatile semiconductor device with data stored on punched cards or ASC II encoded (eight level) punch card paper tape to give liberty to electronic designer to design a program and remained in vogue for more than three decades. At present the semi- conductor devices/equipment to transfer data in to different nonvolatile are in use commonly can be categories in three categories as flash memory, micro controller devices and programmable logic device. Before the introduction of graphical display devices, the programmers was a device which was mostly using switches and LEDs to enter the instructions one by one by setting the stitches in a series of ‘on’ and “off”  positions. These positions of switches are in correspondence with the assembly language now a day in use. Presently the device based on switches and LEDs are almost are not in vogue and is outdated.

There are four kinds of device programmer gang programmer, development programmer, pocket programmer & specialized programmer to put in to use according totheir utility.

Utilize the PIC Circuits and Microcontroller Programming

PIC circuits are a very useful and resourceful tool for use in many electronic projects. They are very inexpensive and easy to discover. They are also very powerful and are capable of speeds up to 64 MIPS using the internal oscillator block, about 16 times faster than AVR Microcontrollers. PICs are also simple to program, however, getting the project group can sometimes be complicated.

This information will walk through the process of setting up the software, creating a latest project and programming some simple functions to test the configuration and make sure everything is working. They are designed to be incredibly open ended; after the project has created and the basics are finished, the reader is confident to discover all the features and extras not covered in this advice. Also, you will find that these instructions will begin to walk through step by step, but as the guidelines near the end the reader is encouraged to explore other ways of completing the tasks and make the project their own.

A Microcontroller programmer is a hardware device attend with software which is used to relocate the machine language code to the Microcontroller/EEPROM from the PC. The compiler transfers the code written in languages like assembly, C, Java, etc. to machine language code (which is reasonable by the machines/Microcontrollers) and stores it in a hex file.

A Microcontroller programmer acts as an edge between the PC and the target controller. The software of the programmer reads data from the hex file on the PC and feeds it into the controller. The target controller on which the program needs to be burned is located on the programmer using a ZIP socket. The software relocates the data from the PC to the hardware with parallel, serial.

When you want to research more about the terms of PIC Microcontroller and Microcontroller programmer, you can search from through internet and get more instructions of these programmer.
